Ice Scream 4: Rod's Factory is a free game developed by Keplerians Horror Games. The fourth installment to the popular horror game saga, this title continues to feed the players with a new chapter. This time, it will take you to the ice cream factory.

As in the previous games, your goal in this adventure game is to escape Rod's grasps. The objective is also not only to escape the factory but to rescue other prisoners. Ice Scream 4  is played from a first-person's perspective. It also offers a creepy atmosphere reminiscent of titles, such as Five Night at Freddy's.

What is Ice Scream 4: Rod's Factory?

Ice Scream is a horror game series that stars an ice cream man who attacks kids and pulls them into his truck. Here, you will play one of the neighborhood kids. Rather than do the responsible thing and call the cops, you decided to rescue the kids yourself. The gameplay is simple. You will explore the game map and solve situational puzzles to help the children escape.

Ice Scream 4: Rod's Factory exploits the same storyline and horror resources. However, instead of the neighborhood, the game takes us to the ice cream factory. As with the previous games, it will feature lots of stealth action and a great variety of puzzles to solve. As an added challenge, there will be mini Rods. Avoid them as much as possible as they can alert Rod of your location.

For the first time in the saga, players can freely explore the vast setting and learn more about the villain's past. Moreover, the puzzles, while still cryptic, are more solvable than the previous titles. With this, you don't have to watch tons of ads to get a hint. However, like its predecessors, it is not really scary. The only frightening thing about it is the awkward controls and laggy performance. 

Is the game good?

Overall, Ice Scream 4: Rod's Factory is a fun game to play if you are looking for a simple horror game. The gameplay is easy, and the puzzles are not that challenging, allowing you to progress without much difficulty. However, players hoping for an intense horror experience will be severely disappointed as the game is not scary at all. Nevertheless, it provides enjoyable puzzles in a macabre and charming way.
